Responsibility Trucks
To deliver the message of responsibility across the communities we serve, Beverage Distributors of Colorado dedicates a significant portion of its delivery fleet to this cause. BDC trucks carry the messages "Make Responsibility a Family Matter" and "Support Zero Tolerance for Underage Drinking and Drunk Driving."
Alcohol Awareness Month
BDC supports April as Alcohol Awareness Month. BDC is a committed partner with our associates, customers, suppliers, and communities to advance legislative and community initiatives that promote the prevention of alcohol abuse.
Partnering with Industry Members
The Charmer Sunbelt Group has also partnered with the Federal Trade Commission, the Century Council and other national organizations including the National Alcohol Beverage Control Association (NABCA) and the American Beverage Licensees (ABL) to support "We Don’t Serve Teens." BDC distributed point-of-purchase materials to retailers and community organizations across Colorado as a reminder to parents and other adults that providing alcohol to teens can mean serious consequences, and also to encourage them to speak up about underage drinking.
Engaging Our Public Officials: Public Service Announcements
Beverage Distributors has worked with The Charmer Sunbelt Group’s corporate team to record public service announcements (PSAs) narrated by prominent elected officials. These PSAs have not only effectively disseminated our message, but have resulted in forging invaluable relationships with these public figures. Joe Marotta, our president and CEO, does a PSA each year during the holidays and again in the spring. We recently distributed a prom/graduation PSA.
