 Zenker to Become Assistant Counsel

The Charmer Sunbelt Group (CSG) is pleased to announce that Jennifer Zenker has been promoted to assistant general counsel, effective March 1, 2011. In her new role, Jennifer will report to Arlyn Miller, vice president, general counsel, of CSG.

“In the three years that Jennifer has been with CSG, she has developed an impressive expertise in the wine and spirits industry and has gained widespread respect and support from both company and industry colleagues,” Miller said. “As assistant general counsel, Jennifer will continue to be a valuable resource to me in supporting CSG’s focus on being the distributor of choice.”

Jennifer, who previously served as the company’s associate counsel, will be involved in all aspects of CSG’s legal affairs, and will also have a significant role in the strategic administration of the company’s national legislative initiatives.

Jennifer graduated with honors from the George Washington University National Law Center.  She began practicing law at Howrey LLP in Washington, D.C., in general commercial and antitrust litigation.  After being named senior associate at Howrey, she was recruited by Clifford Chance’s structured finance group and went on to join CSG. She is a member of the bars of New York, Massachusetts and the District of Columbia and holds a bachelor of arts in political science from the University of Wisconsin.
