Danny Valdez, brand ambassador for Ron Zacapa rum, and Manuel Aczueldez, brand ambassador for Jose Cuervo tequilas, were in Washington, D.C., in February to talk about their great brands with our retailers, consumers and bartenders.

Danny’s Zacapa activities included a trade dinner for the city’s top mixologists at Ceiba, as well as a learning cocktail hour at Gibson featuring Zacapa XO. Targeted off-premise accounts held consumer tastings during the visit.

Manuel hosted a consumer event with the District of Columbia's tastemakers, influencers and editors at which Jose Cuervo was paired with a three-course tasting menu to highlight the tequila’s versatility.
