Andrew Hillman
President
 
Andrew has been president of Connecticut Distributors Inc. for the past 10 years and oversees every aspect of management of the company, from developing and implementing its annual business plan to developing its long-term corporate strategies. Andrew is the liaison with suppliers’ senior management so he can know first-hand their corporate goals and ensure appropriate brand management and execution. He also represents the company at the Connecticut Wholesalers Association and is a participant in all state lobbying initiatives. Before joining Connecticut Distributors Inc. he held the position of executive vice president at Martini & Rossi Corporation and spent 18 years at United Distillers Vintners. He has also held other positions in the industry, including at the James Buchanan Company, Gordons Gin USA, Guinness America, and Third Party Distributors.


  
Chad Stone
Executive Vice President, General Manager
 
Chad has been with Connecticut Distributors Inc. for four years, serving as senior vice president, finance and chief financial officer, until being promoted to executive vice president, general manager, in early 2010. In his new role, Chad is responsible for overseeing Sales, Finance and Operations. Before joining Connecticut Distributors Inc. he held the position of director of financial projects at our sister company, Washington Wholesale, in the District of Columbia. Prior to joining The Charmer Sunbelt Group, he worked as a senior accountant for Deloitte & Touche, servicing clients in the Financial Services Group. Chad is a certified public accountant and holds a BSBA in finance and accounting from Washington University in St. Louis and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago.

 

Tim Clarke
Senior Vice President, General Sales Manager
 
Tim has been with Connecticut Distributors Inc. for five years, beginning as the Merchants Division manager until being promoted to senior vice president in 2006. His responsibilities include managing, directing and coordinating the activities of all employees in the Sales department and initiating and overseeing sales programs to achieve supplier and CDI annual goal expectations. Tim manages sales planning and staff training and supervision, and handles the development and maintenance of CDI departmental annual budgets.

 

Edgar Garcia
Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer
 
Edgar joined Connecticut Distributors Inc. in May 2010 as vice president, finance and chief financial officer. Before joining Connecticut Distributors Inc., he held the position of director of financial services at our corporate office in Maryland, where he oversaw financial services for The Charmer Sunbelt Group. He has been instrumental in finance reform, process improvement and SAP platform designs, and has been a leader in helping increase the efficiency of Charmer Sunbelt’s operating units across the country. Prior to joining The Charmer Sunbelt Group, Edgar held positions at Under Armour and Northrop Grumman, where he helped innovate financial processes and procedures. He currently holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland and master's degree in business administration from Loyola University in Maryland, where he studied both accounting and finance.
 

 

Stephen Baye
Vice President, Business Management and Marketing
 
Stephen has 30 years of experience with Connecticut Distributors Inc. and for the past 20 years he has managed programming, pricing and executing goals to standard for all brands. Today, he is responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing and programming direction for CDI. He also manages the CDI pricing/promotions/marketing plan, ensuring optimal alignment across the calendar for all brands. He collaborates with the sales team on supplier initiatives, such as product launches, test markets, FOCUS programs, and other marketing initiatives. He holds a Bachelor of Science in economics from Fairfield University.

 

Walter Myslewski
MIS Director

Walter has 30 years of experience with Connecticut Distributors Inc. and has many responsibilities, including that of credit manager, pricing manager, director of operation, and MIS director. He also serves as the information systems manager. In his many roles, Walter oversees troubleshooting and maintaining computer networks and all computer-related software and hardware issues and needs. He analyzes computer system needs for management information and functional operations to determine scope and priorities of projects. Walter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Quinnipiac College.

 

Joe Luciana
Director of Operations
 
Joe has been with The Charmer Sunbelt Group for 16 years, working at CSG’s Arizona, Maryland and Florida operations. In his current role as director of operations for CDI, he directs and coordinates warehouse and distribution activities in conjunction with warehouse managers. He monitors velocity on all items and ensures the correct placement for maximum benefit to Connecticut Distributors Inc.  Joe oversees the purchase and lease of all warehouse and operational equipment.

 

Wayne Murray
Operations Manager

Wayne has 32 years of experience with Connecticut Distributors Inc., beginning his career with the company as a driver and as a warehouse associate. He was promoted through the ranks, including holding the position of warehouse manager, until becoming CDI’s operations manager. As an operations manager, Wayne directs and coordinates the activities of all workers engaged in distributing, moving, and storing wines and spirits. He also is responsible for the maintenance of CDI’s office and warehouse space.

 

Jeff Kasiewicz
Purchasing Manager
 
Jeff Kasiewicz has been with Connecticut Distributors Inc. for 23 years, 21 of those years in the position of purchasing manager. In this role, he manages the purchase of all wines and spirits and the SAP purchase systems and procedures. Jeff also oversees the company’s purchasing policies and filters product information to the proper channels. He analyzes market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and works with receiving departments to ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods.

 

Linda Boleky
Human Resources Manager
 
Linda came to Connecticut Distributors Inc. four years ago, bringing a wealth of experience in the beverage industry. Prior to joining Connecticut Distributors Inc. she was employed by Gallo Wine Merchants of Connecticut as human resources manager/office manager. Linda is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and a member of the Human Resource Association of Greater New Haven. She has attended the University of New Haven and Gateway Community College for human resource courses and certificates.
