Vincent J. Andretta III
President/Chief Executive Officer
Vincent “Jay” Andretta III brings 27 years of industry experience to his role as President and Chief Executive Officer of Empire Merchants North. He served as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Colony Wine & Liquor Distributors prior to the joint-venture between Colony Wine & Liquor and Service-Universal Distributors. In September 2007, Jay was named President/CEO of the new organization, Empire Merchants North. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA). Jay received a BA in English from Colgate University.
Kevin D. Tucker
Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Kevin D. Tucker serves as the Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Empire Merchants North, overseeing the Sales, Merchandising and Pricing departments. He joined Colony Wine & Liquor in 2000 as the Executive Vice President of Sales. With the merger of Colony Wine & Liquor and Service-Universal Distributors, Kevin became the Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Empire Merchants North. Prior to joining Colony Wine & Liquor, he worked as a wine importer, as well as with various non-alcoholic beverage companies. Kevin received a BS in Economics from Siena College.
William F. Simpson
Chief Financial Officer
William (Bill) Simpson is the Chief Financial Officer at Empire Merchants North. He joined the Charmer Sunbelt Group in 1990, serving as the Assistant Controller for Premier Beverage. From 1995-2003 Bill held the position of Controller, Vice President of Finance and Operations for Service-Universal Distributors. In 2003 he moved into the role of Director of Corporate Financial Systems for CSG IT in Baltimore, before returning to Upstate New York in 2007 to serve as the Chief Financial Officer at Empire Merchants North. Bill holds a BA in Accounting from the University of South Florida in Tampa.
Scott D. Olin
Chief Operating Officer
Scott D. Olin brings years of beverage alcohol experience to his role as Empire Merchant North’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). Scott has been with Empire Merchants North since December 2007 and served as the General Operations Manager before moving into the role of COO in March 2010. Prior to joining EMN, he served as Operations Manager at Eber Brothers, and Director of Operations at Southern Wine & Spirits. Scott attended Arizona State University where he studied Transportation Management.
Carol G. Brown
Executive Director of Human Resources
Carol G. Brown is the Executive Director of Human Resources at Empire Merchants North. Carol joined Service-Universal Distributors in January 1983 as the Office Manager overseeing the Syracuse operations. In 1998, she was promoted to the role of Director of Human Resources for Service-Universal Distributors. With the combination of Colony Liquor & Wine and Service-Universal Distributors, Carol became the Executive Director of Human Resources, responsible for the design and implementation of all human resources strategies, policies and processes throughout the company. In addition to her involvement with HR, Carol also oversees all safety related functions for Empire Merchants North. Carol received a BA in Business Administration from Lycoming College.
