Education: Getting the Message Out

TURF, Charmer Sunbelt’s social responsibility platform around responsible tailgating, partnered with CSG, CBS Radio, Brown Forman, and Diageo in getting the message out about responsible consumption. The TURF Public Service Message aired live three times a week on the "Boomer and Carton Show," heard on WFAN AM New York. The TURF message also aired before each New York Giants and New York Jets home game on 1010 WINS and the Mike Francesa show, "NFL Now," syndicated across the country. In addition, Empire Merchants North distributed flyers with safe and fun tailgating tips.

In addition to holding to TURF, our President/CEO also participates in recording public service announcements regarding responsible alcohol consumption. These programs raise awareness and educate our potential consumers on the safe and responsible enjoyment of our brands.

Promoting Responsible Consumption

Empire Merchants North LLC President Jay Andretta personally supports a program that supports zero tolerance for high school students drinking. He helped make a video featuring school students who have been in prison for causing alcohol related fatalities. This novel concept has garnered the attention of regional politicians and, more importantly, spreads the word about responsible consumption.
