Jon Maslin
President, Chief Executive Officer, Member of the Board of Managers
Jon Maslin has served as president, chief executive officer of R&R Marketing since 2006. Prior to that, he served as executive vice president and general manager from 2004 to 2005. He provides the leadership strategic direction for the company. In addition to his position at R&R Marketing, Jon is active within the wine and spirits industry as an NJ ABC Advisory Committee participant and board member of Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA). He also works as a board and executive committee member of the nonprofit organization Bridges Outreach. He is a graduate of Emory University and received his law degree from American University School of Law.
Howard Jacobs
Chairman, Member of the Board of Managers
Howard Jacobs became chairman of R&R Marketing in 2006. Prior to taking on his current position, Howard was the president of Reitman Industries from 1976 to 1994. In 1994 Howard led a merger between Reitman Industries and Royal Distributors to create R&R Marketing, which he served as president and CEO from 1994 to 2005. He is as an avid supporter of the nonprofit organization Jewish Vocational Services, serving as president elect. He is also a member of the Metro West Federation, the American Jewish Committee, Y Camps, American Heart Association, and Washington and Lee Alumni Chapter. He is a graduate of Washington and Lee and Cornell University.
David Lowenstein
Executive Vice President and Secretary, Member of the Board of Managers
In his role of executive vice president and secretary, David Lowenstein is responsible for matters pertaining to legal, tax, insurance, and human resources on behalf of the company. During his 40 years as executive vice president, he has brought a unique blend of experience and insight to these areas of the business and continues to provide strategic direction for the company. He also serves on the Board of Managers for R&R Marketing. A participant in many philanthropic endeavors, David serves on the board of the Hood Museum of Art, Hanover, New Hampshire, United Jewish Communities of Metrowest, New Jersey, and Trustee of the Reitman Foundation. In addition, he sits on the executive committee of Dartmouth College, Class of 1967, and Board of Governors for Mountain Ridge Country Club. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Columbia University School of Business.
Douglas Siegel
Vice President of Operations
Douglas Siegel leads R&R Marketing’s Operations teams and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company’s business. For more than eight years, he has developed innovative techniques for operational improvement, including designing and executing a cost-effective approach to a streamlined business process. He is known for his ability to lead change-management initiatives to enhance the organization’s position as a leader in wine and spirit distribution. Prior to joining R&R Marketing, Douglas was an equity trader for Goldman Sachs and Spear Leeds Kellogg Capital Markets. He also worked in institutional brokerage for Natsource, LLC, and Cantor Fitzgerald, LLC. A graduate from the University of Pittsburgh, Douglas Siegel holds dual degrees in Business and Communications. He received his master's degree in business administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Dennis Resnick
Director of Sales and Marketing
Dennis Resnick has been director of sales and marketing at R&R Marketing since 1996. In this role, he oversees direct sales and marketing strategy for the company and its key suppliers. During his tenure, his development of training and education programs for the sales force has resulted in the company being recognized for its innovation in creative marketing initiatives, in partnership with the New Jersey retail customer base. Prior to his role at R&R, he served as operations manager for Plainfield Supermarkets and Title I educational director for Watchung Hills Regional High School. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and received his master's degree in business administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Dennis Portsmore
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
In the role of vice president and CFO, which he has held since 1994, Dennis Portsmore manages all phases of operations and finance at the company’s two facilities in West Caldwell and Trenton. He is primarily responsible for day-to-day operations in credit, accounting, purchasing, payroll/HR, and information technology, where he serves as the leader of the R&R Technology Committee. Prior to his role at R&R, he served as senior accountant and controller at Reitman Industries. He is an active participant in the CPA industry where he serves as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of CPAs and the Institute of Management Accounting. He is a graduate of the University of Hartford.
